2. Australia 2007: Destination: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Noosa Heads, ...
flight was ok. neptune palace is halal and right next to the marriott. Food was quite good actually. Real malaysian food. A bit of a walk to the shopping, but not bad. nice walk actually. Sydney tower and oztrek not bad, perhaps overpriced and we would skip it next time. opera house tour was good. Didn't get to see the main hall though as it was in use. hop on hop off tour not bad. Well what can I say.......This city had exceeded all my expectations of it and then some. All the pics I have seen in the past just dont do it justice, nothing like seeing a place in the flesh. After our flight we headed to Piazzale Roma where the bus from the airport dropped us off, there we were met by Roberto and Lucia, the couple who owned the apartment (called Ca Lucia) we rented for the four days. www.hostelworld.com They were brilliant!
